Lorena Patricia Lues
Moving forward, my mission remains solid and consistent. I would like to continue working with people living with substance use disorder & psychiatric conditions utilizing an interdisciplinary approach with ongoing exploration of the social determinants of health. Other goals include working with the LatinX community and joining the Lupus Foundation of America "Social Determinants of Health (SDOH) Pulse Advisory Council (PAC)" subcommittee to help provide sustainable support and access to self-management programs and resources to people living with lupus.
I would like to thank my family & friends for their ongoing support these past 2 1/2 years. Regardless of what my dreams are, you are there cheering me on! It has been an arduous wild ride of trying to balance so much in my life but worth every minute! I would also like express my gratitude to every client that I have worked during this time for allowing me to be part of your healing journey. Thank you for sharing your stories with me. “Owning our story and loving ourselves through that process is the bravest thing that we will ever do.” -Brené Brown, Ph. D., LMSW.
