I would like to thank my family and close friends for the support they have given me in recent years as I returned to school to pursue a more meaningful career path and sustainable life for myself, my wife, and our future family.
Most importantly, I would be remiss if I did not show gratitude and appreciation for my wife Nicole. She has been my rock through this journey and has shown endless support for me through all the ups and downs. She inspires me to be a better person on a daily basis, and I would not be who I am, or where I am today without her. We are having a baby girl in July, and I know she will be the best mother in the world. I love you, and I can't wait to start this next chapter in our lives.
Thank you to the professors and staff at UMB, I feel very fortunate to have attended this school. After attending UMBC for undergraduate, I had a feeling that staying under the University of Maryland umbrella was the best option for graduate school, and this proved to be true. I have learned a tremendous amount about what it takes to be an effective social worker and a good person in general, and I hope to apply those skills to the best of my ability as I transition careers in the near future.
Finally, best of luck to all my fellow graduates! It has been an honor to share this journey with you all during this unique and difficult time in the world. Hopefully we will cross paths again in the future!
