My mission in life after graduation is to thrive in my professional life as well as in my personal life. I am planning to start my Social Work career as a medical social worker and get to experience again working on a team with medical professionals, instead of lacrosse players. I am excited to learn so much more about the medical field from a Social Work perspective. I know I will bring great value to an interdisciplinary team and will continue to advocate for Social Workers in the healthcare field. Personally, I can't wait to be a colleague and not a student. To take on a full-time job and the many responsibilities that come with being an employee as well as a growing adult, I can't wait! I will continue to keep in touch with my fellow classmates and professors and will always remember that anything is possible in life because I graduated from graduate school and passed my licensure exam in a PANDEMIC!

To my family & friends,
Thank you for always supporting me throughout my years of education & understanding I had to sacrifice a few weekends to prioritize my school work to get where I am today. You all have helped keep me motivated within these past 2 years of graduate school, therefore I don't know what I have done without you all by my side. It has all paid off, well not my student loans, yet! Happy to be celebrating graduation with you all ONE LAST TIME!
Love you all,
Mackenzie Cunningham, BSW, LMSW
