I intend to establish a foundation that will assist women and young girls who are victims of domestic abuse and teenage pregnancies back in Nigeria. Added to this, I will provide counseling sessions and resources for empowerment and self-improvement.
To the glory of God, today, I feel highly honored to be amongst the teeming graduating MSW students of the class of 2021 of the University of Maryland Baltimore. As a milestone, it is the awaited moment in my life.
Of a truth, this wouldn't have been possible without the commitment and support of my family members, exceptional instructors, academic advisor, administrative staff, field liaison/supervisors together with my classmates.
I appreciate you all for being my support system. By God's grace, we have been able to finish well and strong, despite the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic.
