Raina Wilson

I will use my social work education to work in Social Impact, Community Engagement, and Corporate Social Responsibility roles. During my time at the SSW and in SWCOS, I was a Dean's Scholar, a Sandra Hess Community Practice Scholarship recipient, and a member of the pilot year of the Social Worker in the Library program. Outside of school, I applied a social work lens to my work on the City Neighbors Hamilton Charter School Board and as a founder of the Mayfield Community Racial Justice Group. I did this all while being a mother to two little boys and wife. My time has been full!
I am grateful for the support that I have received from my family, friends, fellow students, and the faculty at the School of Social Work. I have had opportunities through this program that I could have never imagined. I'm leaving school prepared to make an impact on the world. I thank God for laying out a path for me and I'm grateful that He gave me everything I needed along the way.
